It doesn't really matter to me what the president wears. If he feels comfy in jeans, fine. If not, that's ok too. I know plenty of people who feel more comfortable in khakis than jeans.
Some great presidents may be one of the common man (or could pass for one) - Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt. Other great presidents have been anything but. Washington, Jefferson, FDR.
The measure of a good president isn't someone I could go out for a beer with. Or, in my case, a diet coke or lemonade since I'm not a beer drinker myself.
They both strike me as patriarchs rather than comrades. They seem to me to be more inclined to think of themselves as knowing what's best for the common man, rather than considering themselves as one of them.
Neither good nor bad in itself. It all depends on whether you agree with their notions.
I like that neither seems like a hothead or overly stubborn. I was hoping for a very civil election, though that seems not to be a hope likely to be realized.
