My goodness that was angry, and I have to say it is reassuring to hear that tone from an American. I suppose he is pretty much right. It is how I see things, more or less.
You might be interested in this view from down here. I only include it because I just read it. Don Watson is pretty good. He was Paul Keating's speechwriter.
