I read this last night. I was interested to see that the cost of bailing AIG out has been 173 times the value of the shares in it at their lowest point.

Things don't look good in the UK. Quite scary and informative, but you would need to print it out and lie down to read it with a cup of tea and perhaps a Valium.

John Lanchester is impressive.
