Presumably they're leaking information to blame Palin for the loss-- although I don't see how it doesn't hurt McCain, too-- but if the information is true, people need to know.

Leaks are pretty common, actually, so this doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me, except that what they've leaked is so remarkable.
