The rich still control a lot of the wealth, but we have a pretty good income tax system that redistributes the wealth down to the middle class and lower class. But, our Conservative gov't is threatening that with 50 billion dollars in tax breaks for corporations.(If they get re-elected as a Majority). Their numbers are thankfully falling in the polls, so we will have to see.
