Consumer anxiety has nothing to do, whatsoever, with the condition our economy is in.
I'm the cause of gas being $4.05 a gallon here in Central Texas? I don't think so.
Did the price of rice triple because we had a family huddle and projected that the rice crops would suffer?
We're in a very bad spot.....the sooner it is recognized by all, the better it is for the country.
I don't eat meat.....better health and fatter pocketbook...my hens supply my eggs..my veggie garden provides peppers and tomatoes..work is 4 minutes from my house and I am building a bicyle out of two scrap ones...I do not waste a drop of water. I catch every bit of it, while waiting for the water to get hot enough for the dishes. I use that for my plants and pets.
I don't have a credit card. If I can't pay cash, it doesn't come home with me. I buy most of my clothes at the nearby thrift shop. Got a new pair of linen pants, tag still on them, (75.00) for $1.00. Get Levis for .50 a pair. I'm re-using and then I recycle whatever I can.
I'm not preaching, but I am saying that we can do better.(yes, I am preaching) ....but, WE DIDN'T CAUSE THIS BY WORRYING ABOUT IT. The people who are robbing us blind, in this and past administrations (look back at least 35 years) caused this mess.
