That's right, Payday. David Hicks could have ended up in a jail in Uzbekistan, Syria or Egypt.
The beach just around from Guantanamo is one of the best in the world.
Anyway, we can be sure he'll be back in Australia in time for the federal election.
Philip Ruddock says he can see no problems at all.
