Nicolae Ceausescu, a mass murderer, there's a good candidate for capital punishment. Lucky, he never died a martyr to a cause. I guess mass murder would probably never be a good cause of martyrdom. Unfortunately he never stood trial and experienced the public humiliation of his dreadful deeds. But then again, a psychopath could probably never be humiliated, especially when mass murder becomes a hobby.
My strongest memory of the Royal family at the Buckingham Palace is a phone tapped conversation between Prince Charles and his (back then) prospective spouse Camilla Parker Bowles, The Duchess of Cornwall. Unfortunately I can not qoute this conversation due to foul language and deepest respect to deputies on this very board.
However, it is interesting how modern technology has made our leaders more human, although I am not sure it has empowered their leadership, nor improved their legitimacy.Somehow leaders are expected to know better. Like for example, is there weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or isn't there?
