so you wouldn't follow orders that are unlawful under international law?

yes. so it isn't a moral thing so much as it is a refusal to follow an order that he had good evidence to believe was illegal under international law.

he is probably more articulate and informed than your average foot soldier... the court cases will continue with people making a case that the invasion of Iraq was unlawful according to international law.

other people have followed suit...

he got the ball rolling was all...

and he will appeal.
