I had the ame experience re the miniscule cup on a trip from Oz to england. I was sooo thirsty when i arived and dehydrated it wasnt funny. I'd owrked out i needed to take about 6 large bottles of water with me on the plane!
The flying itself dehydrates.. plus I have this problem with undetectable ADH..so i dehydrate anyway.. Plus on the way i decided taking some kava beforehand would be a gereat idea to help me sleep on gthe plane.. only it dehydrates one too.
what got me was i asked for a bottle of water but was tole that was only for first class!.. and yet I could get a whole can of softdrink or beer!!.. just NOT water.
I was thinking it would be just as bad now they have put these restictions on.
I think we should be able to take a bottle of water on the plane, provided we drink a cup of it as we enter! (just to prove its fine)

I did request refills of the tiny cup.. I had about 5 of them at once.. but was still thirsty and they refused to serve me more. i asked could they just leave the whole bottle .. but NO...

It was the only thing I guess I thought was bad about the service and flight.. but still.. i really cant understand the attitude!!
wine, beer, softdrink ..is fine.. whats wrong with providing more water!

:-)
