He just reminds me of our Premier in the 70's (Bjelke Petersen). I'm not taken in by these folksy attempts to appear silly. They strengthen his support in the heartland at no other cost. I think he's sharp as a whip (really I do), but I doubt that he is so well informed. I wonder who is well informed about the middle east? Maybe the Iranians? Have I been offensive, maybe I have, maybe we shouldn't mention Iran?
