There is a school of thought about proper government, that says it isn't government's role to regulate industry. If we get out of the way and let capitalism take it's course, industry will regulate itself. They say they believe that no business can sustain itself by killing its employees or customers.
I'm waiting for that natural correction to occur.
One of our local refineries had some sort of spew last week, and they were out cleaning off peoples cars and changing the dirt in the local playground before they even notified the authorities. I can't even discuss this without sarcasm so I'll let it speak for itself.
