Regardless of one's stance on the Schiavo fiasco, does it strike anyone as strangey ironic and hypocritical for President Bush and is brother Governor Jeb Bush to both be involved in this private matter based on their alleged commitment to the sanctity of life? This when they hail from Texas which prides itself in the hasty execution of criminals. Our President champions the 10 commandments, but seems to forget the sixth one about killing, particularly those potentially wrongly convicted on death row and, of course, countless innocent civilians and children overseas. Bush played a direct role in the killing of 131 people by not staying their execution as a Texas Governor.
