I see suicide as having a choice and murder as something we can't prevent. And that is not set in concrete..my FIL accomplished it while drinking. I didn't feel that he was rational enough to think it through. However, it was clear to me that he had thought of it before.So, I think that suicide can be harder on the survivors because sometimes you feel that you could have helped to prevent their death.
