At about 8pm, I realized that I hadn't bought ANY candy. I pulled our light-blocking living room curtains shut, turned off the porch light and made sure there weren't any bedroom lights on. Then I watched TV in guilt.
Talk about being scared! I was anxious a cutesie little 3 year old would toddle up our stairs and I'd have to resort to giving her a can of sugar-free RedBull.
