That state on marijuana where you don't know how to respond or cannot find within yourself the certainty of how to go forwards, nor any certainty at all is interesting.

I volunteer at a local radio station where I can never find anything and things have to be done according to procedures. Someone will come in to pick up a prize. It's the sort of place where it's acceptable (after some beaurocratic failure) to say to whoever that collecting the prize may be so stressful that some winners never recover. So I try to find words to correspond roughly to my experience.

Fear and panic for no specific reason? I have assumed that there is a reason tucked away somewhere in there (fear of nothingness!) and that if I am sufficiently ingenious I will find it. But even if its some random chemical thingo (leaving aside the question of whether this is really an either/or) I still want to find words for it, because that, after all is what we do.

As for useful interventions, my options are limited by insomnia. But I'd mention the following as interesting.
Deprenyl
Hydergine
Vinpocetine
Tianeptine

I'm open to the suggestion that these might only make things worse though (very good at shooting myself through the foot).

My nutritional docor recommended SJW and SAMe too.
Thanks for the description of your symptoms; just like mine.
