I was told that it modulates(?) the neurotransmitters. I think it mainly affects seratonin (I read an article in the Life Extension magazine), but Blueberry and Linkadge think mainly dopamine. It doesn't feel like a dopamine precurser or agonist or deprenyl though. I had thought the sunny feeling it can give you was a seratonin thing, but I dunno. It can adversely affect your sleep.
