> Dened, you were so excited about Hawaii that I didn't want to burst your bubble. But you are only going to be working 20 hours a week at minimum wage. I don't see how you could save up enough money to go to Hawaii. Maybe you don't have many expenses and you save most of what you earn, but still. Also, did you take out a student loan? Because that sucker will start charging you interest 6 months from when you got your degree. Whatever you do don't get into more debt to travel. It's not worth it.
As it turns out, the company that hired me sort of lied a bit. They said the job was 20 hours a week, but what they really meant was a MINIMUM of 20 hours a week. Apparently they are really swamped with work right now and everyone needs to work a minimum of 20 hours. I'm working 38 hours this week. I don't have any debt at all. I think I can afford Hawaii, the question is, is the expense worth it to see Dr. Bob for 2 days?
I'd like to put money into my tax free savings account too, but then again we only live once!
