Copyright Your Posts

Anyone with a legal background here? Is it possible to copyright the content of all your posts? Or does it have to be an intellectural work of literature, art, etc., in order for copyrights to be used?

Maybe it's simple to get a copyright for all the comments written under your posting name. That way, you could sue/prosecute anyone who copies what you wrote and posts it on Twitter or Facebook.
