I don't place him on a pedestal, but neither do I try to bury him under a mountain of incivility. Sometimes, it seems to me that there are episodes of a mob mentality targeting the doctor. He might not deserve praise for all of his actions, but neither do I for mine. Still, I would not demonstrate the patience that the doctor has if I had to be continually addressed with disrespectful tones.

I don't understand why you could not have offered a response without my answering your questions first.

> A. What constitutes in your thinking disrespectfull tones?

Devaluation.

> B. Is there a list of mermbers that you could make that are in the set of members that have posted in what you could describe as a disrespectful tone, if you could describe such here?

I could make a list of posts that were made over these last few days that I consider disrespectful to Dr. Hsiung. However, I believe that doing such a thing is uncivil and provokative. I am not so interested in affixing labels to people, though. Uncivil posts can be made by very civil people. People are NOT their behaviors. However, their behaviors do have consequences.

> C. If so, how could a member here obtain that list?

There is none to obtain. Everyone here has value, including Dr. Hsiung. A good starting place for defining a respectful tone might be to consider speaking to others in a way that you would have others speak to you.

Here is a direct question to you that I would like to have answered since I took the time to respond to yours:

What constitutes in your thinking disrespectful tones?
