The things I saw were
1. Logged in, time 1: saw very few new posts on Meds board since some time in Dec.
2. logged in time 2, same day, several hours later: saw 250+ posts from last few days, which is a great plethora, and much more than usual in a few days, and a lot of other posts that had not been there, from periods before last week, since the time in Dec. (where there had previously the same day been almost no posts)
My first post was written after seeing the board at time 1; my second post was written after seeing the board at time 2. I found both the dearth and the plethora to be so unusual as to suggest something odd. And I found both of them, on the same day, to be even more unusual. (Note that I hadn't visited pbabble much in the intervening period, so I don't know how that affected my cookies, cache, etc.)
