Recently, a number of people here have posted some very nice, very supportive things to me. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you.
For those who felt bad that I no longer felt like a poster here, I've found it to be a mixed blessing. It gave me an incentive to find alternate ways of meeting the needs Babble used to meet for me, which I think is good. I also believe in what this site is about, and I believe in the rules, and the deputy system, so I am still part of the community, doing something I believe in, even if I don't come here for support anymore. I consider that a fair deal, and hope no one will feel bad for me about it.
It really meant a lot to me to read some of the nice things said in support of deputies, and in support of me. I think sometimes I see so much of the other side of things, it's easy for me to forget that there are people here who appreciate what the deputies do. Reading that reminder left me with a very warm, comfortable feeling, and I thank everyone who took time to say so.
I won't name names -- even if I tried, I'm sure I'd forget someone, leading to hurt feelings, and that's the last thing I want. All I want is to say, your words left me feeling warm, and cared for.
Thank you very much for taking the time to say something so generous.
