Michael Liebowitz was the doctor who first diagnosed me when I was screened at Columbia Presbyterian in 1982. He told me that I shouldn't worry; that 85% of people get well on TCA or MAOI. Who would have figured that I would end up in that minority 15%? The doctor is an extremely compassionate human being who has contributed much in the areas of atypical depression and social anxiety disorders.
