Something more like, "I wish that Dr Bob would answer my post, but I am going to keep in mind that he may not for his own reasons." Or "It's OK that I want Dr Bob to answer me, even though he may not for reasons of his own."
Whatever you do, Miss Starshine, just remember that you're OK the way you are, and that people here like and accept you that way. (Even if we are pleased to see you doing so much better. That's being pleased FOR you, not WITH you, if that makes sense? I don't care if or how you change, Deneb, except that I am very pleased when I see you apparently feeling better about yourself and happier.)
I hope he answers you, and I hope you are kind and accepting of yourself.
