I have read and understood your previous points.
However, isn't this a clear case for favouritism? Why did Dinah help you then, and not others? Does she help people re-phrase their posts, all the time? Or is it just to a select few of her babble buddies? Why then should she help her babble buddies out and not those that she doesn't know? If she helped everyone who was about to recieve a PCB, then ok. But she didn't help me with the warning I got above. So therefore she helps some people avoid PCBs, and others not. Which, I feel, should not be the behaviour one would expect of a fair and just deputy. A judge, shouldn't give more lenient sentences to those that are his/her friends. All should be treated equally. Which is one reason why I think Dr Bob is the fairest law enforcer around here.
This is why I think deputies should be anonymous- to avoid this sort of blatant favouritism happening.
I'm not saying that I'm not grateful for Dinah giving up her time. I'm just trying to think of ways to reduce bias in the system.
> I remember back maybe 3 years ago when I posted something that could have gotten me a PBC and Dinah was kind enough to pm me and try to help me re-word that post. I wonder if she recalls. Anyhow, I did not forget that kindness and sometimes think maybe having volunteers help CORRECT posts (more like civil buddies ) instead of PBC'ing would be more helpful to the deputies as well as the poster ??? Could this be seen as a middle ground and a less stressful????? It could bring about some peace in here for all....I dunno......but I think its worth a thought.
