Hi Dr. Bob,
The same thing happened again today, so I ran a test to see if I could duplicate the situation. It seems to be a conflict between Babble and PubMed. I'm running XP Home Edition with all of the latest updates. Usually I'll have my Outlook Express InBox open, responding to a thread I'm following. If I start a post in Babble, then open a PubMed window, this is when the Babble window with my current posting will disappear. If I do a CTRL/ALT DELETE to look at the open applications, the Babble session is gone. I tested it twice today, and the Babble window went away both times.

If things are slow and that takes some time and you don't wait and switch to another window and then decide to close that window, if the Babble window loads and brings itself to the front before you hit "close", you'll end up closing the Babble window instead of the other one. Might that be it? Is the Babble window being closed down instead of another window?
