Email Reminer Notice Faliure

I've been getting erratic email reminder notices over the last three days - some of them are turning up several days late, and I'm wondering if the fault is caused by my email provider or the PB server? I notice someone posted with a similar complaint further up but there was no official response.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
