There are multiple plugins.
See: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=206210&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=#test
In particular, try launching "about:plugins" (no quotes) from Firefox. When I try that, it shows the installed plugins on my PC. None that I have support MIDI. Yours may look different from mine. Mine lists eight files.File name: npqtplugin8.dll
File name: npqtplugin7.dll
File name: npqtplugin6.dll
File name: npqtplugin5.dll
File name: npqtplugin4.dll
File name: npqtplugin3.dll
File name: npqtplugin2.dll
File name: npqtplugin.dllAlso, I tried the test here, and firefox still could not locate and could not download the appropriate plugin.
Between this and my new PDA losing sound...Grrrr. This is what I get for trying to solve this stuff on my own instead of asking (yet again) my in-house tech support (aka my husband).
Thanks,
gg
