You're overthinking this one, curtm.
And anyway, that posting here makes you important-- or makes you feel important-- doesn't imply anything about the importance or unimportance of anyone else.
You can feel important while other people are important--either for posting here, or posting elsewhere, or other reasons entirely.
So don't sweat it.
