Pinkeye reminded me of something so wrong and sickly all the time.. I started associating it with only bad times and crying.. So wanted to change to something nice and pretty and which will bring a smile when we see it.. So I chose orchid. I thought for a long time to come up with something else, and nothing came to my mind.
Finally orchid came to my mind. - I always had such a fancy for orchids, so went along with that !!
