Ok. I don't use the framed version.
On the unframed version cutting and pasting from peoples posts is a pain in the *ss. When you have a box open that you are typing your post in all is well. When you go to open another post or switch to another board to fetch another post then your original posting box tries to close itself. It turns into the 'you seem to have closed the box without posting....' box.
Does this make any sense at all?
You have to cut and past from that box into ANOTHER posting box. And hope you don't want to fetch some more from somewhere else or you have to go through the whole rigmarole over again.
Anyways, it is a pain in the *ss.
Another annoying thing is that I like to switch between the posting box and the next confirming step a few times. That is because it is prettier and easier to read in the confirming step. But when you go back from confirming to editing a new box comes up 'you seem to have closed your posting box without posting'. Well, at least that one has the courtesy to minimise itself. These ones open themselves in addition to the posting box. After posting a large post or a particularly delicate post and switching between editing and confirming a number of times I sometimes have 6 or 8 of the damned things to close.
Is this because I use 'back' ???
Does this happen in the framed version too, or is it easier from there?
I am not keen on frames because I like to see as much of the board as possible. In the framed version some headings take up two lines so you see less of them on the page.
