From what I have read up and experienced on Zyprexa, a certain amount of weight gain is inescapable -- regardless of diet or exercise.
Ofcourse it is made worse by the pronounced stimulation of appetite.I believe weight gain (even small amounts) on Zyprexa is due to the slowing down of catabolic enzymes, which "chop" up all those polysaccharides.
My qstn is this....Can one have appetite stimulation on Seroquel, without a concomitant gain in weight. In other words, do the catabolic enzymes work at their normal speed, in spite of a (possible) appetite stimulation?
Thanks guys!Ace
