addressing the poster of concern

I think that it would be nice if before a request for determination the person who is concerned could ask the poster to clarify what was meant. That way the poster gets the chance to explain and perhaps even apologise before maybe receiving a PBC.

I notice that Lou (for example) does this sometimes and I think that that is nicer than just going to you directly (except in the case of more straightfowardly abusive posts).

Though I guess that for preference we do not need another rule...
