Except that predicting requires understanding and remembering all the rules, and it is way confusing to some of us*--I feel too overwhelmed to have to learn the difference between one 3-post rule and another 3-post rule. It has to be made much simpler, IMHO.
I still like the idea of a total max of 3 such posts per day and after that if a poster has more, they need to email it. That way, it addresses several goals:
1. Serves the purpose outlined by someone earlier of being aired in the group, which might have several important advantages. (I'm sorry I'm not remembering who mentioned these points--they were good!)
2. Limits how many grievances/ clarifications occur on the board by any one poster (maybe leading to people having to prioritize their grievances)
3. Gives people a way to express those additional greivances if they've used up their daily limit.
4. It's SIMPLE and easy to remember--3 per day, email after that.
Thanks.
* Kind of reminds me of trying to pick up all the ins and outs of complicated rules in some sports (or role playing games like Magic Cards, etc.).
