This was meant to be a light-hearted reference to Lou's often admirable trait of persistence. I thought it would promote a feeling of his acceptance in the community using a bit of good-natured "ribbing". However, I can see how it could be misinterpreted to be otherwise. I apologize to Lou for any upset it may have caused him.
