> I disagree. Your babblemail status doesn't identify you, there are lots of other posters with that same status.

Dr. Bob,Gee, imagine my surprise to find that in my sincere not derogatory statement to the poster in question I end up with a PBC. How about how I felt put down by this poster's actions? Do my feeling once again not come into play on this board?
Ah but your ongoing interest in ETHICS might lead you to see what would happen for someone with a need for as much privacy as can be afforded.
Here's how I now see it. If I left my babblemail activated........I immediately turned it off after said poster publically announced on board that my babblemail was active......and then started receiving babblemail from every tom, dick, and harry registered and reading at this site. I would be returning each of these to you with the individual fingerprints for you to find them and let them know I'm not interested in volumes of mail. This seems like a bunch of extra work for you for babblers that will abuse the system. Trust me it will be abused as this board has received almost every kind of attack so this is only evolution of harassment on this board.
I have no problem with babblemail being a feature that only registered babblers can access.....my problem lies in divulging that information here on board. How can you see it as not inappropriate? Does this mean I can hint at various ways to contact said poster?
My babblemail status was NOT for the board to be aware of. If each individual wanted to take the time to see if my babblemail was on then fine. This way nobody needed to check because said poster felt free to let the world know.
Now it is an option I will never use as already I can tell you are not concerned for your posters privacy rights.
As always baffled by your decisions,
