today i stumbled into the looking glass, methinks. it seems that paxvoxx/nemo/(most recently, pax) was having a bit of a public meltdown and scattershot a few choice tidbits that disappeared from the boards (social *and* admin, that i saw) almost immediately. i felt bad for him(her?) and tried to respond sympathetically to one of them on PSB.
my questions:
1) am i supposed to ignore someone who's been blocked? if i was told, i've forgotten. i searched the FAQ for the word "blocked" but couldn't find anything specific to this question.
2) why were these posts raptured off the boards while other "uncivil" posts by blocked members (the same member in this case) are still viewable? e.g.:

i'm not saying that i disagree with the blocks in any way, am not trying to be smart or question policy. i just feel like i may have screwed up and don't want to do it again.
i am also concerned because when it happens thusly, subsequent posts (mine, in this case) appear out of context and, i feel, paint an incomplete picture of the evolution of the exchange.
thanks,
sabina
