But the expression is "the best of both worlds". Period. So, either it's one of those funny usage things or perhaps it's referring to "the best (characteristics) of both worlds where characteristics is implied. And, if you look closely, that's exactly how it's actually used by us ungramatical barbarians pounding at your gates.
JaneTo redirect or not to redirect, that is the question. And not, though the incorrect decision by the rules, wins by a nose on pragmatism points as I think this thread is close to fading into oblivion.
