I second that request.
Polls would allow people to see trends. For example if there was a poll that gathered data about type of depression, type of medication, and success with that medication, It would be easier for someone with depression to find a medication that they hadn't thought of but that has a good track record for people with that someone's type of depression. Over time their could be a library of poll results that could be a very useful reference.
One thing I've noticed on PB is that many people are more likely to accept personal recommendations than the opinions found in research journals. Logically it should be the other way around, but people naturally are not always logical, especially when they are suffering. A poll system might help bridge the gap between anecdotal and research information.
