> Did I miss something in geoff's post indicating generalizations or questioning of another's sincerity regarding withdrawal effects? It sounded to me like nothing more than the relating of a personal experience.
I found the Title of the post to be the generalization, 'Effexor withdrawl is overrated'
it came across as definatively to me as if "Depression isn't as bad as people say"
In my opinion personal experience would be conveyed using the first person such as "I had no problem withdrawing from Effexor.> I'm confused as to why gabbix2's post conveys such hostility. Any enlightenment would be helpful.
There was no hostility intended, it was the way you interpreted my post, as I said saying something is "Overrated" (which I took to mean "exaggerated" as overrated usually means to speak highly of) is in effect saying the withdrawl is not as bad as people say.
I'm glad Geoff had an easier time than I did.And also Geoff I'm very sorry it went this far
and If I sounded hostile, I've written things where the fact that I'm speaking from personal experience I think is a given, but quickly realized it isn't always. There was NO personal attack there at all, and I'm sorry if I didn't take the time to round things out a little.I'm clarifying what I said, not to torment you : )
but because it was asked, and cause I'm actually pretty nice.
