Hmm, is the "form" used to post specified by the newsreader or the newsgroup? Would it be possible to keep features like "notify you of follow-ups", "add name of previous poster", redirecting to different boards (groups), and posting in different languages?
Also, the web pages for posts aren't static html anymore, would that make a difference?

What's available seems to be something called "vnews".
