I disagree. Please read the agreement you signed. You are merely subjects in this experiment, which I believe and will get confirmation of, is funded by federal grant money. In other words, funded by your tax dollars. If this is the case, then these boards are PUBLIC. However, I doubt very much that if these boards prove to be effective, the result will be a private board, where you will have to pay to enter. You are not being paid for helping them expand thier 'services'. You are paying them (with your tax dollars) so that they can make more money in the future. They offer nothing in return (read your agreement carefully).
I smell a rat! I trust my nostrils! The methodology is undisclosed. The hypothesis remains hidden. The boards are over moderated. This project is more than likely funded by your tax dollars in the form of a federal grant. You recieve nothing from Dr. Bob and this Chicago Institute. There are other avenues for you to seek support from on the Net which are entirely free, where you are not required to sign an agreement which grants this Chicago hospital the rights to use your written posts to justify setting up a business on the internet. These boards are not for you, it is for this chicago institute, and this is clearly stated in the agreement you signed. I have already disagreed to further use of my posts, because it is evident to me that posts are being deleted, and these posts will not play any role in determining the efficiency rate of these boards (in other words, the data is being manipulated).
If indeed this board is being funded by private moneys, then these boards are not public. But I lay ten to one odds now that this capitalist instution has not ventured their assets into this experiment.
In plain and simple words, the Chicago instution is looking for new ways to expand their business, and offering none of THEIR services. YOU ARE BEING HAD, and agree to giving up your copyrights to this company that seeks to prove that this is a valid way to help people with pyscological disorders, so that this Chicago institution can PROFIT financially from it. Whether or not you benefit from YOUR FRIENDS' posts on this board, you are giving this institution rights to use your posts to come to the conclusion they want to: This is a valid way to provide services to you, and a valid way to charge you for these services in the future.
Change is inevitable. Growth is optional. Power to the people, not the greedy capitalists that are already betraying you (but you agreed to let them do this to you). READ YOUR AGREEMENT AGAIN! I suggest you retract your agreement, and find a truly free source of support.
