The last link was Dr.Bob at his U of Chicago address but it looked like it came from a numbered AOL account originally, and was filtered through another numbered AOL account. It was dated this afternoon and when my security opened it (in a round about way), it looked very much like a virus text. My cool security shows it to me then asks if I want to proceed or get rid of it. I got rid of it. I suppose that I could have it retrieved.
I have had several potential viruses come from AOL accounts lately. They don't really bother me, though. These addresses just get trapped in "goo". (Don't ask 'cause I ain't tellin' - actually, I'm not sure that I really understand). I can have them traced them right back if necessary, and may, yet. I am told that originating computer can be messed with if they are trying to hurt me. That is why I ask if anyone else got the post, or if it was legitimately forwarded by Bob.
I've just been seeing if this new security lives up to it's maker's hype (a friend). He knows I am computer illiterate, so that's why he is having me beta test it. I don't want to hurt any legit emailers, though. This has been the only email so far that I have had any reservations about. If I am sure I don't know an emailer, they get tagged.
