I noticed that Colin got a PBC and then a block, I think in the same week. This is the second time he's been blocked, and you gave him four weeks instead of two. What gives? And why would someone (scared) who made several (four?) uncivil posts at once (which earned about two PBCs and one block) get only a week?
I know you have just revised your civility policy and are asking us to trust you. But it's really not a question of trust; it's one of understanding. This is your board, and you are certainly entitled to do with it what you will. But I and others have trouble understanding how you issue the blocks. If, indeed, you give a PBC first, then a week, then two weeks, then four weeks, then maybe you made a mistake with Colin (or maybe I missed a two-week block)? But if you change that depending on how heinous the crime, I understand that (and applaud it) too.
What I don't understand is why Colin's post was heinous enough to earn him four weeks, and scared's multiple evil posts got a week.
