Dr. Bob,
Although Pamela was fairly harsh, I think many would agree with the sentiment. She has been very understanding and supportive of me and others on this site. We have corresponded frequently. I hope you can understand where the frustration is coming from. The side effects and now withdrawal from Effexor are wreaking havoc with my life and other's. As you can see, it's about 5:35am. I can rarely sleep anymore and live in constant discomfort; sick, tired and in pain. There is nothing worse than going through this and having a doctor, family member, or anyone else dismiss the severity of the symptoms and devastating effects. It was difficult for me not to respond in anger or frustration to a few postings over the last few weeks. I, for one, can understand how easy it is to be overly sensitive to disbelief and dismissal, and to respond emotionally charged. I hope you can allow us to to both give and receive support to/from Pamela. I would also like to thank you wholeheartedly for establishing this forum. I've learned so much and this has meant the world to me to have discovered people going through the same horrid experience. I have thanked God many, many times that I found this site when I did. I was at the end of my rope.
Thanks again,
Seraphim
