We don't need the medically correct police here on this board. There is a lot of good advice, and some so-so. Take the personal responsibility for yourself to read or take or not take advice. There is a disclaimer here. It's FREE SPEECH as long as it is not offensive [which it's not]!

Of course if they would wind up killing themselves, as is not to be excluded in cases of severe overactivation, I doubt that SalArmy4me would be able, or willing, to restore them to life, and much less to compensate them for the grief he had caused them. If he had said that parnate worked wonders for some, I would be in total agreement with him, but his elementary ignorance of the nuances of psychopharmacology, and his exhortations to break the law are inexcusable. The sad fact is that with advice like this it is NOT a matter of IF but of WHEN someone DIES of such misbegotten and IDIOTIC advice. Hippocrates said something about first doing no harm. One would wish that his sage advice would still be followed today.

> Fortunately Steve, none of the MAOIs are readily available over the net (at least not on the 'official' sites). I agree that MAOIs shld *never* be taken unless under the close supervision of a professional (& that advising otherwise is courting death), but this does not apply to all meds and to all people.
