The reason I suggest this vrs a compilation of posts from the archives ( which is not a bad idea but more work ), is that some thought can be given to the posts so that a coherent over all picture is achieved, rather than a piecemeal answer of single questions.

I do not know if there would be enough interest for this to be feasible.
