The two other antidepressants (that i know of) that hit dopamine is Effexor (at 150-300mg) and zoloft about 400mg, they both all 3 together have to be at higher doses to work with dopamine. Prozac I can tell at 80mg is mixture of serotonin and norepinephrine. From what i researched Prozac has had lower response rates than effexor of zoloft. Effexor is potent antidepressant.
But ... i can tell in the morning when i wake up very depressed then take prozac and coffee it lifts the depression away. Not totally but enough to feel the effect. At some points i can notice some dopamine but mainly's serotonin i can notice.
anyways, one more question : i take lamotragine 400mg daily, i take it in morning 1st dose then 2nd dose in afternoon. I can notice some antidepressant effect, but sometimes it dulls things out. Like right now i took lamictal 2nd dose again and i feel normal. It's mystery on how these meds work. Any imputs would be cool if you can awnser
