Iron Status:Just Ferrtitin or Transferrinsatur...?

Hey guys,
is the Ferritin value sufficient to calibrate your Iron dosage? Or do other value need to be checked as well in Order to know if the dosage is right? I just don't want to overkill it with the iron.
I was told that in order to prevent all symptoms, a Ferritin value of 100 is good. I started out at 18.

Seroquel 700mg
Zyprexa 22.5mg
Trazodone 75mg
Venlafaxine 37.5mg
Metformin 2000mg
Lithium 225mg
Orthomolecular
