Yes, definitely.

The conclusion is highly ridiculous.

They could have written something like.... since phenelzine reduced body fat content in MICE, further research may be useful to better understand the mechanism behind this. In future, greater knowledge of the mechanisms behind the accumulation of body fat might aid the development of drugs to inhibit this process in humans.
